About the Department 

The Department of Chemistry established in academic year 2023-2024 with B. Sc. undergraduate programme in PCM and CBZ. The department have one well equipped under undergraduate laboratory and lecture rooms. The department has distinguished itself as a centre for innovative and pioneering research in a wide range of areas in chemistry and chemistry interfacing with physical and biological sciences. The curriculum, approved by the Central Board of Studies and aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), incorporates a wide range of courses that department offers: Discipline Specific Course (DSC), Discipline Specific Elective Course (DSE), Value Added Course (VAC), Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) and Generic Elective Courses for under graduate programme.
